      Company's image in job Market Not very Micro managing Flexible with leaves and breaks

      TCS believs in managers.if you are technically skilled or research talented, you shouldnt be at TCS, because people who dont do work and help managers shoulder thier work gets all appreciation and benefits. so in long term if you wanna be a process expert or Reasearcher or a consultant, forget being with TCS-it can never satisfy you. It has such a false skin in the business world. pay is horrible Never believe TCS banding process - as it is all pre set-so if your manager gives you a high rating, dont be surprised if you end up getting the lowest BanDoing some thing extra-will always get you rewards-but something extra will end up ruling the work place and actuall business slowly drifts away. TCS managers are dead logs-they follw true Indian fundamentals-'we dont work and always criticise people who work'

      Good Work life balance, Relaxed environment, Growth depends on your self, Nice processes in place. A good name in the industry. Good company to settle for.

      Cons

      most of the projects are not technically competent. Your peers will be weak technically and communication wise. Have to play tricks to get recognized. Govt company like attitude of people and HR.
