Better than most [non-union] electrical contractors in Iowa

Pros

They have events with prizes including money and TVs. Company parties and competitions. Most consumable tools like bits and blades are replaced.

Cons

They suck at getting successfully bidding jobs. Rough-in and trim are split up and don't communicate with little opportunity to cross-train. I've seen multiple times people give their two weeks notice and are immediately removed from the schedule. Safety in name only.

The company cares about its employees as people and not just numbers. There is a saying among management: Sacrifice the numbers to save the people. Do not sacrifice the people to save the numbers.

Cons

I wish I could recruit, organize interns AND work in the field.
