      Pros

      This place has an awesome work culture/environment. It's a very laid back atmosphere with a team-building feel. There are opportunities to work remotely, which is great for anyone who likes to travel. Overall great company to work for. I really only left because the commute was too taxing for me after a year of working there.

      Cons

      The work for this position is a tad repetitive and tedious at times. Not for someone who craves a job with a lot of movement and creativity.

      Pros

      -Great Company to start at and grow - Positive Work Environment - Decent Benefits - Excellent culture Team Velocity is a great place to work and everyone really gets along with each other like a family. There is a lot of positivity around the office and the office itself is very comfortable. You have to work hard in this fast paced company because you deal with very demanding clients but the payoff is rewarding. There is a lot of room for growth and with that comes more money. If you stay for more than a year, this job can easily become a career.

      Cons

      - No 401k Matching - Fast paced and high expectations - Starting Salary is a little low for the work put in. If you're not the type of person who can handle a heavy workload, you will not fit in at Team Velocity. It is not a typical 9-5 job but the job is manageable. Most of working at Team Velocity is being proactive instead of reactive. You can fall behind quick and that can make work stressful but from my experience as long as you stay on task, you'll be able to not be too stressed out and enjoy work on a daily basis. There is no 401k matching but apparently that is coming down the stretch. Given the heavy workload, the pay is a little lower than expected living in the DC/Metro area but not so much so that it's unreasonable. Also, you can grow and make more money down the line.

      Pros

      The people. This is a great company filled with tons of cool, young people. We have monthly beer Fridays, a bowling event, a Christmas party. It's a great first job out of college, especially if you are moving to the DC area and looking to meet new people. Work/life balance is good depending on the manager you have.

      Cons

      It's a great entry level job, but there's very little room for career advancement or growth, especially on the production team. The design roles are not creative. It's template based. Copy / paste data entry all day, but a good place to start / learn the creative suite if you are right out of school.
