Pros

This was by far the worst job I ever had in my 21 years of working. Management are unprofessional, have non progressive ideologies, extremely lazy, judgemental, and the biggest set of bullies I have ever encountered. They set the tone for a toxic work environment with the pandemic and made my life a nightmare the my entire time 5 months working there. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone. HR doesn't care either, so please keep looking because it will never change.

Cons

MacDonald's and Mean Girls Club Management style leads to a horrible work experience.

Pros

Not much....looking for a new job.

Cons

The tools/equipment you need to be effective and efficient at your job are not provided (phone, laptop, training on post acute computer systems) the Ipad provided does not interface well with the LTC facilities' EHR and all of the annual required training must be completed on your personal computer. The EHR is slow and kick you off multiple times a day. NO CEU money. Only in-house continuing education which of minimal caliber The benefits are expensive Poor time off/work like balance- need to complete charting on the weekends PTO is 20 days a year which covers 8 holidays and 2.5 weeks of vacation Your orientation is not fully paid- you start seeing patients in the red because othe first two week you participate in required company and EHR training which is not a billable service. The company takes your bonus pay during the first 90 days to recoup what they paid you during those first 2 weeks of non-billable orientation. I lost almost 4K of bonus pay during my 90 day probation period. This for-profit company uses drug reps to feed the staff during company meeting....contributing to the problem of high cost prescriptions.
