Pros

The healthcare, onsite gym, schedule

Cons

Longevity has more weight here than fast learners that have sharp minds and can make improvements with procedures and production goals. The people who are supposed to train you in the AR department do not like to share their knowledge. They prefer to keep it to themselves and hold the AR reps accountable and then act like it is the AR reps faults when production goals aren’t met.

Pros

Great pay and opportunities for advancement or transfer to another department

Cons

Promotion of females and non-white races into senior management positions. Most all higher level manager positions are held by white men and a few white women.

Pros

Ability to work with older adults in a fulfilling field of practice.

Cons

This is an RVU based practice. The current focus is on meeting numbers, not providing good quality care. They have given pay cuts to almost every provider who is not seeing more than 20 patients in a day. They pay productive providers more per encounter making those who can only see 15 patients in a day unfairly punished. There is no paid time off, you can only take days off if you meet productivity goals. The benefits get worse every year. Call for providers is like another full time job. The phone system is terrible and patients and families are often frustrated by this.
