Thanks so much for sitting down and offering your comments. TeamHealth strives each and every day to offer the best possible opportunity and environment with a goal of clinician engagement being at the top of the list. It is unfortunate that your experience did not reflect our efforts. All reviews are appreciated and yours will certainly be helpful in crafting our organization's future efforts to make TeamHealth the best organization possible.

Pros

I have a significant amount of autonomy, which can be good and bad for professional growth. The schedule is tremendous for my lifestyle.

Cons

I've been with the company for nearly 2 years and been denied a base pay raise and was not reimbursed as promised for nearly 40 hours of online coursework.

Pros

Nothing I can think of

Cons

There are several reasons I would not recommend this company. First of all, you need to use your own PTO for national holidays, but they do not give enough PTO days. You cannot be sick. You need to find a covering provider when you request your PTO. However, the problem is that you do not have many chances to know other providers within the company and your manager does not help you to find the covering provider. This makes it difficult to find the covering provider for your PTO. This brings me to the second reason. The managing team is very incompetent and stringent. When you want to take CME reimbursements to renew your licenses, your manager will tell you to find free courses to save the company's money. You cannot get the reimbursement for CME because the company will be pushing you to take free courses only. When you request to update your home address to HR, you have to follow up with them again and again to make sure that they did their job. I requested to update my home address in the system for healthcare insurance and retirement plan companies, but they didn't update my home address for 2-3 months and I realized that no one updated it. I needed to keep contacting HR to check if my home address was updated or not repeatedly. When you have questions regarding your benefits, the person you reached out to is less likely to know about the details of the benefits and you would be transferred to another person, and then another person on and on until they finally get to the right person. When you need PPE, this company will not reimburse the PPE. If the hospital or facility where you would be working at does not offer PPE, you have to use your money without getting reimbursement. There is no empathy in company. You are pretty much on your own. When you are really sick, they don't care and will tell you that you would be laid off if you don’t show up to work. I have been very disappointed with so many things. Run away and look elsewhere.
