I am a United States Disabled Veteran. I had extensive leg surgery in 2012. When initially receiving a call about the position they stated it was a Analyst position and that he could be worked 100% remotely from home.
When coming onsite i made the entire team aware of the issues with my leg, was actually walking with crutches for about two weeks. All of human resources denied that I did not make them aware of fill out any paperwork informing them of my disability. This is something that after serving my country i take extremely serious and would ensure they where aware of my physical limitations. They where not able to find a manager for the half market rate pay they where offering and after reading my resume where on my last job for one of the largest financial institutions i was an AVP and received a global performance award, they asked me to manage the unix team. Their hiring tactics are the most unprofessional i have every seen and all of this can be verified by each individual team member. They threatened to lower team members pay if they did not send their personal documents through unsecured email. Once i received a reply all from a few of the team members and had copies of their personal identification and documents, i brought this up in team meetings in front of the entire support organization on several occasions and was yelled at. Then suddenly a link was being distributed to everyone to submit the documents through a portal, that should have been given initially.
They lied and threatened to change salary if you did not confirm with the every changing requirements for the JOB. Initially stated remote position, demanded me to change from Analyst to a manager position with no salary increase and then changed expectation for me to work remote to being fully onsite 2.5 hour commute in traffic each way daily. Physically assaulted by a manager grabbed me after a meeting telling me to be quiet, while i was giving the team instructions, he was unaware i was the new team manager, when i threatened to press charges for him grabbing me in front of the entire unix team, they laid me off and lied stating that after working in the data center, with ID's at GE General Electric in Alpharetta, that i did not pass a back ground check and then laid me off on the form stating lack of work. I also showed them and filled out all necessary documentation explain to them that i was a disabled Military Veteran and because of leg surgery ( My entire team saw my leg and was aware of the disability), this was the primary reason i was needling to work remote , the management staff continued to demand me to come onsite, i started experiencing discomfort excessive swelling in my leg and i quit, initially , then they came back and laid me off. Sating Lack of Work. They also hired people that where severely under trained, i was building L2 Unix support team and they where bringing in people that had no prior unix experience and consistently offered half the salary amounts of the incumbent organization. I have EEOC case number to fully support every word in this statement.
I would not recommend anyone serous about their career and especially United States Military Veterans to work for any part or support any part of this organization and i will go on record as well as all members of the team i managed, names and numbers on hand, to support the truth in my statements on how Tech Mahindra takes pride in disrespecting, lying and hurting its workers. Sincerely
