Pros

They get government contracts because the CEO holds "disabled veteran" status

Cons

The CEO and COO are very money grubbing. They both admittedly don't care about the government or our veterans. They under staff programs in order to maximize their profits. The Director of HR that the COO hired lasted only about a month before realizing the illegal nature of their operation, and quit. The COO threatened employees in a meeting, telling them that if they spoke to any other contracting companies on the program about getting jobs there and leaving Technatomy, that he would put a bar of soap in a sock, take them in a back room, and beat them. He didn't realize that a coworker was recording the conversation and it got back to the government and other contracting companies. This was a major reason why Technatomy lost the contract renewal at the VA and all of us lost our jobs.

"Sink or Swim Work Environment"

Pros

Some of the staff are very friendly and will help you out. Great place for those who thrive in a sink or swim work environment.

Cons

Nepotism/Office Politics runs rampant around here. Little Training, lack of set policies or procedures. If you do not do well in a sink or swim environment, this place is not for you. Some of the managers will resort to yelling/bullying for the sake of "being in charge" rather than being leaders. Toxic workplace. Many new hires do not last long around here. Average lifespan is 6 months to 1 year. Some managers/co-workers will engage in hostile behavior in order to get someone they don't like or have incompatibilities/conflicts with to be fired or forced to resign rather than figure out a solution. This has been a major problem.
