      Pros

      Challenging work as part of the energy sector. There is lots of potential for IoT and cloud based services.

      Cons

      Goals set by management are not supported by the employee resources required to succeed even when outsourcing is utilized. This shows that management is disconnected from the reality of what the business unit faced with.

      Challenging projects develop the problem solving skills.

      Cons

      Inadequately qualified managers and some other people doing nothing meaningful. So called managers have no sense of the building blocks that lead to decisions in oil industry operations.
