Pros
TA is an organization that not only has taken the time to craft 5 distinct Core Values - but has truly baked them into the company DNA. Crave Knowledge - TA encourages its employees to be inquisitive, creative, and grow both professionally and personally. The book reimbursement program, and First Friday's - where employees share their personal passions with their colleagues - are just a couple examples of this in action. Challenge Mediocrity - Much of the high-growth areas within the business, such as the IT Channel initiative - stem from finding new ways to grow beyond the current state. Make Calculated Decisions - Instead of sporadic pivots and shifts in strategy, the entire team is encouraged - and often required - to show their thought process. In doing so, better decisions are being made with longer-term implications. Be Transparent - There are countless examples of the entire organization openly asking for input, discussing how things could have been managed better, and appreciating the hard work of those behind the scenes. Value Each Other - Not a day goes by where there isn't 5-6 recognitions sent Employee-to-Employee acknowleding/thanking/appreciating the work being done. There is an entire Slack channel designated for the purpose. Also, there are numerous deliberate efforts to ensure that ALL at TA feel welcomed and included.
Cons
The work environment is high-intensity and the company is growing fast. Collaboration and the continued introduction of new processes will be key to support this.
