Leadership lacks vision and is dishonest

Pros

Getting to work with founders

Cons

Executive team and certain members of the board are not transparent or honest with their core customers, the founders (or their employees). It's the wrong type of people to be building this organization. The exec team aren't necessarily bad people, just all way over their head and in a space they don't know. So the company lacks real leadership or direction.

Great mission, terrible at human capital and communication

Pros

if in an accelerator program you get to work with amazing founders

Cons

- the external hype of doing well is mostly a facade. Internally things are a struggle. - terrible human capital skills across all levels of the organization. The most important people ie the teams who run the programs are not well taken care of if issues arise. Decisions are made in a top down way. - you’re experience is very much dependent on your MD.
