Teck is a great company overall. CESL, one of its technology divisions is not a great long term place to work.

Pros

Great company to work for with good benefit. Creates opportunities to work with highly intelligent people. Easy to become actively involved with the community. Good pay. I really enjoyed my time at Teck.

Cons

Some job and project instability - depended on how Teck was doing in the market place. Unfortunately, I saw some office politics, if someone didn't like you it could be detrimental to your job.
