Pros

company paid pension plan and employee stock options, plus medical and dental benefit premiums for employee and immediate family are covered by the company

Cons

No training is paid. They tell us we must get certified, but they will not pay for training materials. They will only pay for the fees if you pass. The works is a lot of hurry up and wait. No knowledge sharing, and people end up re-creating stuff someone else in another project might have done. They make us use our own lunch hour to do the annual mandatory timesheet and security training sessions.

Pros

Wonderful training program which includes OTJ training with a more senior analyst, as well as classroom training before you head to the support office and subsequent classroom training once you get your feet wet. They have a great back office support group and really stress continued learning and professional certifications

Cons

They operate almost exclusively in the defense sector which is seeing, and will probably continue to see a few tough years, and their contracts are typically recompeted every so many years. While they have more or less cornered the market on defense cost analysis and do a phenomenal job they are subject to government source selections where contract selections could be based on poltical decisions instead of fundamental analysis

Pros

Benefits are good,with the exception that retirement $ is not vested until worked 5 yrs there as Co pays it all. You don't contribute, therefore if you haven't worked for at least 5 yrs you receive no retirement benefits.

Cons

pay is so-so, not great, Heard it was much a better company to work for in some other locations.
