Pros

Great place for recent college grads looking to gain work experience. Fun and vibrant work environment. Very laid back. Employees are able to work from home on Fridays. The option is also available for sick days or for doctor appointments. They prefer to promote from within. Very encouraging of professional growth and development.

Cons

Training is a bit of a challenge. You basically learn as you go. Team members can often be immature and annoying, expecting things to always go their way. Constant complaints of the workload and always looking for shortcuts. Office gossip is pretty big. Most team members spend time chatting about one another through the IMs as opposed to discussing in a more professional manner.

In response, we have reviewed your feedback with our managers and underscored how our company should engage employees during these situations. Members of Team Telogical are committed to the company’s core value of respect, and we provide all full-time employees with three days of bereavement leave each year for unfortunate situations such as this. Pros

Flexibility to work remotely on Fridays

Cons

The work itself is mind numbingly boring. Basically just mindless muscle memory of your fingers on a keyboard all day long. No opportunity to use your brain at all really. Sometimes the company operates like a charity in regards to employees. Work is very team-oriented, and so when management does nothing to address co-workers who slack off and don't carry their weight (after being brought up countless times by numerous employees), it creates dissension and resentment among the team and destroys work morale. Clients are large telecom companies, and so at the end of the day, to have a job that helps basically just lines the pockets of America's most hated businesses (Comcast, TWC, Verizon, etc.) is pretty unrewarding, making you feel like your life is meaningless and unfulfilling.
