Downhill after Apollo Acquisition

Pros

Great direct management, great experience in seeing all aspects of a business, good resume builder, great coworkers.

Cons

After working remote for 3 years, the headquarters office moved 20 miles away and employees were given a 2-4 week notice that they are expected to be in office to “fill a seat” to appease the ELT 3x a week. Merit raises were delayed by at least a quarter, after employees already had a year of no merits and salary cuts. There is very little room for growth here, and the senior leadership team’s town halls do not align with what actually is implemented. Pay here is under market value. This was a great place to work prior to Apollo acquiring Tenneco in November 2022. The company announced merits were delayed as well as the back to office mandate the week after the engagement survey closed, not allowing employees to honestly answer how they feel about the environment of work.
