The State of Tennessee offers extended vacation time to those who have worked at least 5 years. After 5 years, you also received $100 of longevity for each year you've worked with the State.

Cons

The State does not offer competitive salaries for Administrative or Non-technical staff. There are not many opportunities to have pay increases or advancement in careers.

Helping people. It is very satisfactory when you feel that accomplishment everyday.

There's is so much work for one person because there are three other vacancies in your department. They were working on improving on all that when I left.
