Pros

There wasn't anything positive about my experience working for them. To clarify it was the DMV.

Cons

People are crazy, and if they don't get their way, or you mess up on something (even if it's a minor thing) they scream at you from across the room in front of customers and other co-workers. I didn't get paid nearly enough to deal with crap.. Customers were rude too..they get violent sometimes, and it's not even something that you can control.

Pros

Flexibility in schedule and working with mission-minded people are among the pros; decent benefits packages are helpful

Cons

Very infrequent raises and little autonomy in working smart of effectively; working around some people who lack motivation to innovate or do little else than collect a paycheck; inequities among agencies in appropriations; very political.
