      Flexible work hours. Can change positions without changing careers. A diverse working community. Grate benefits

      The pay does not match the qualifications required. The pay increases are not reflected in the hard work performed be the hard working talented employees.

      Pros

      Nice people to work with. Great work /life flexibility. Highly encouraged to seek certifications. The company also reimburses for most fees obtained to get certification as well as offer raises once the certification is earned.

      Cons

      Although certification, especially CPA designation is encouraged, there is limited growth opportunities within the company.

      Pros

      Once you work for the State, you have the opportunity to apply and transfer to several different departments which gives you some variety.

      Cons

      Wages are low compared to most companies. With the constant change and restructuring of state departments, job security is decreasing.
