      Great stability; Good Benefits, Great Vaca/sick time.

      Cons

      Pay is decent but below average of the private sector. No raises or bonuses.(( No room for advancement of any kind. Extremely limiting.

      careere oriented place to work.Stability and career oriented

      Cons

      non civil service employees have no proecss to encounter during the firing phase of positions should that incident occur. Civil service employees are somewhat covered.

      Pros

      The hours are great and flexible.

      Cons

      They do not know what they want you to do. Priority's change on a minute to minute basis. Politics on small level involved in department between coworkers. No wage increases unless state legislature approves one could be years before you get one. Expect you to work while your on vacation and on your weekend - seen data manager do it and then they do not even use data and no compensation for it. All new employees under 30 only a couple longevity people left!
