Pros
There are more than one Department and occupation that a new employee may qualify to do. A person may transfer to different departments for the duration of their careers should they desire to do so. The State offers great health benefits to employees.
Cons
Though most Directors are ethical, some Directors are more ethical than others. Be sure you understand the laws as applicable in that Department and know State and Federal laws so you are able to be in compliance at all times. Personal biases do exist. Know the people. Learn what areas you are in agreement, and work with those you are most in agreement with for longevity in your office.
