-Parking spaces are plentiful -1 hour lunches -Good benefits -Holidays off and more generous around Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years.

Cons

-Management is bad and needs training very bad -General lateral transfers meaning that you can transfer to a different department but don't expect a pay increase -Non competitive lousy pay -Looking for ways to get rid of hard working people they do not like -Management is not happy with their jobs and make it worse for their employees -No overtime pay and you have to flex your hours to keep Government from paying time and a half. -Unorganized mess of management, records and documents -Boring repetitive work -TN State Employee Association is a joke and you pay monthly dues for nothing which I'm glad I did not join the whole time I was with the State gov. -Hard to get on the register for promotion or job by lousy HR management with their incompetent decision making based on your experience
