Pros

Some of engineers especially those who came as part acquisition are very good. Management is flexible with location/office hours.

Cons

Teradata management is extremely focused on cost cutting. They cut office manager position for one of their location in Northern California and now employees (engineers) have to do various jobs that Office manager would do (eg. accepting deliveries/ opening door for guests/talking with guests) Salaries are very low as compared to Northern California companies. Insurance is not very good. Employees (especially those with family ) end up paying lot. Every few weeks, engineers have to be on SWAT for customer issues and they may have to work on weekends OR at night.

Pros

You'll learn a lot from very intelligent and experienced coworkers, some have been there for over 20 years. Great benefits, 401k health/dental/vision life insurance etc.. Friendly atmosphere, everyone helps each other and there's a good work balance. Stable & ethical company with very loyal customers.

Cons

Salary is on the lower end. Needs more young employees.
