Formerly Good Company?

Pros

Good pay. Strong commitment to ethics they seem to take seriously. HR benefits look great on paper.

Cons

Repeated layoffs across many departments. Unreasonably short staffed in key departments. Poor work-life balance. Awesome HR package including No Meeting Fridays, Summer Fridays, Teradata Well Being Days, are empty promises that are ignored across many departments. Unlimited time off is pointless if you're too overworked to use it.

Most unethical company I have ever worked for

Pros

Good traditional data warehousing and data engineering. Great engineering with solid foundation.Recruits great people, Current top leadership is trying to improve the diversity. However, it fails to get to be reflected within the employees who really do the work.

Cons

Do not buy the slogan "most ethical company and care about our employees". Managers manipulate the internal performance rating including the changing the standardized KPI measures. many of the internal technical trainings including "Airlifts" are more and more about who knows whom and present within these sessions. There are stiff competitions internally between different teams. Even if company has moved from hardware business, current GTM team functions like hardware/IT sales.
