      In the past couple of years there are no Pros to working for this company

      Cons

      The company continues to cut costs and is moving many positions offshore to Mexico. Management is terrible and they keep laying off people and onboarding the top management positions with "buddies" from their past companies.

      Teradata doesn't know how to manage engineering

      Good pay - they do pay well

      Cons

      They have an Engineering Leadership Team that does not know how to manage the company's engineering efforts. They are just interested in keeping their empires and silos at Teradata. The shareholders are not happy either which is why they had to layoff a significant number of engineers. They should not have outsourced so much engineering overseas.
