1- A lot of stress, but this really depend on the team you work with - So this might not specific to your role. 2- Every 6 to 8 month they have a series of lay off. 3- Leadership not easy to work with. Their only worry is how to get the stock to grow. The stock will not grow as long as revenue is decreasing. So leadership decide to lay off their employees 4- During my orientation we were 120 new hires. 3 years later there is only 15 people left - This speak tons about their turnover 5- When you take vacation very hard to find a backup. But I think this only apply for consulting and sales (so you need to work through your vacation) 6- Management does not respect much their employees. But again i think this depend on the team you are working with, 7- employees are second class 8- They mention about transforming teradata. But they are still behind. They just got to embrace cloud! Today cloud is not anymore the hottest technology. Today the focus is serverless architecture, containers etc. Teradata has not even been thinking about it. This is why their "transformational" journey will fail. They are so much behind

Sr Management is completely incompetent. President isn't a developer, has never written a line of code in his life and dictates to developers which language he wants the developers which language to program with. HR hiring experience can go multiple months as they figure out what they want to do which will ultimately lead to an under market offer. Work/Life balance used to be excellent, now senior management is pushing unrealistic schedules which are impacting quality.
