Not a good place to work

Pros

- Good Salaries - Good Stock Options for upper management - Good Healthcare packages - Some excellent skilled people throughout the organizations

Cons

- Nepotism all over the place - Executives and VPs judge people once and then decide if they will support you or go after you to leave - Be prepared to be obsequious if you want to get promoted or don't want to get laid off - Constant lay offs and new hires (very unstable)

Lack of care in making quality software

Pros

The pay and benefits are good. The people are enjoyable to be around but the quality of work is not. Work/life balance is nice if your okay with working on a lower quality software product.

Cons

The main work culture vibe I have gotten here is that most people working here are working to impress certain people/groups rather than enjoying what they are working on and making it a better work culture. There is a large lack of quality in the Vantage software suit because there is a sense of pressure on teams to hitting deadlines rather than create quality software (even though they consistently say they want "quality")

Low pay for industry, little room for advancement/horizontal movement, constant overhaul in company resulting in layoffs
