Pros

Vehicle, Phone, and Tablet Supplies are fairly accessible. Always more to learn. Good if you like challenge. Can really help people. Relative Freedom. Pay and Commission is okay depending on your role and payment plan.

Cons

Will always want more from you. Scheduling is a pain. Workload can really be overwhelming at times, Techs burn out frequently. Corporate doesn’t seem to understand how much work Techs actually are required to do. Some corporate strategy shifts make terrible long term sense. High turnover. Feel like I’ve spent more time learning Terminix, than learning how to kill bugs.

Great pay if you bonus. Learned a lot about running a business.

Cons

Very little career advancement opportunities. Demanding and poor culture. Disconnect between corporate and the field. Constantly making changes to avoid paying you bonuses. Expect you to work 80+ hours a week.
