Pros

The people I worked with were nice.

Cons

You have to use your own vehicle and you can expect to drive 200+ miles a day; 6 days a week. You pay for your own gas and the leads generated by the company aren't good at all. Terminix is the most expensive pest/termite control company out there and try are losing business rapidly. They are trying to offer different services to make up for the loss. The training was lengthy but information overload meant lack of retention. Appointments are scheduled in way that you will be driving back in forth, no organization. My advice is stay clear from terminix and find a better company, like Massey

Pros

Area manager very motivating and helps us succeed. Pay is pretty good. Benefits are ok. You aren't required to generate your own leads, buy more leads equals more money.

Cons

Too many hours and are required to work some Saturdays. Beyond the Area Manager, the company doesn't care about you. If you aren't tracking your quota by Thursday, they want you to work Saturday. The 401k doesn't start until you've been employed for a year.

the pay is good if you have a good route. They have great benefits and you get to take home your truck.

Cons

the compensation pay plan is not a good plan. You get money taken away from you when customers cancel whether it is your fault or not. The work home ratio is very unbalanced. Lot of time at work and not enough with family.your schedule changes at the drop of a hat so you never know when you're getting off and it makes it impossible to plan anything for your personal life
