Pros

Flexible work hours - at times Good people Can make a decent living once on production.

Cons

Disorganized top down and bottom up. Too many middle men and software technology - bogs down reaction to situations. Some locations on route can be an hour or more away. Vacation time is on your money when production. No support for your route when away.

Wonderful managers! That alone is a reason to stay with a company. We also get a truck, they pay towards my federal loans every month, I earn commission from sales that can lead to nice paychecks, I have the option of if I want overtime (time and a half) on a Saturday as an hourly employee, and they have great pto!

Cons

Scheduling and changes (happens in every company unfortunately and you have to roll with it) can be a nightmare sometimes but as long as you are organized and on top of it, you control your own schedule. Big companies mean guys at the top getting bored and making changes they don’t always understand (some good though)
