Pros

Treat their employees very well. Health Benefits are very good and the Management is very good. A new building is underway in Austin, TX. Job expectations are high but reasonable and achievable.

Cons

It is an Insurance Company which tends to be more conservative. Current management is changing that somewhat.

Good environment to work, Good coworkers, great hours and gym/cafe on site.

Cons

Extremely hard to move up there. Overall I was in a different stage in my life when I started and had different career ambitions. Just decided to go a different direction with my career. The supervisors there are extremely supportive and awesome. Other than that I loved my time at Texas Mutual.

There are a lot of smart and talented people that work at Texas Mutual, and they make it better when times are tough. The benefits are great especially compared to other insurance companies in the area.

Cons

Company used to be a lot better. We really cared about the customer and it is sad to see that changing. Management is so worried about their own egos and have been known to lie to get what they want. Watch your back.
