Pros

Mom- tenure track coworkers were helpful and collaborative

Cons

Tenure track coworkers and admin always asked us to take on extra classes when I already had 120 students. Most profs have to take on an extra class or teach summer school to make ends meet and can’t say no, so the department has no incentive to fix the issue

Pros

They are very community based depending on what office you work in. The school also has a lot of educational benefits for full time employees.

Cons

Depending on if you participate in the retirement system, you will have almost 600 plus taken out in taxes each month.
