Pros

I was given all of the physical resources I needed to do my job.

Cons

My boss was awful and HR told me they couldn't do anything since so laws were violated.

Pros

TTU offers great benefits, particularly the healthcare and the retirement benefits. I have found the human resources department to be very helpful and my department is a collegial and friendly place to work.

Cons

There are no vision benefits offered. The dental insurance is just okay (not many "in-network" dentists in town). You have to live in Lubbock, which isn't as terrible a place to live as some might lead you to believe, but if you are someone who requires the benefits of an urban surrounding it's difficult to imagine you being happy here.
