Textron is a no-nonsense manufacturing company. Razzle dazzle is more likely to get you fired than promoted. Alot of people in middle management were just collecting a paycheck. It's hard to imagine how some of them contributed to the bottom line. So if you like being straight-laced and inconspicuous, you can easily hang out on the sidelines.
