      Sometimes outlying operations get forgotten when it comes to career advancement.

      Pros

      The work is interesting. The people, both coworkers and bosses, are good to work with. The salaries are average for the industry and area.

      Cons

      There is constant schedule pressure to work more and get more done, and no paid overtime for salaried employees. There is the constant possibilities of layoff which hurts morale and takes away the sense of security.

      Pros

      As an employee of Textron Systems, you are fairly easily able to transfer to a different business unit.

      Cons

      When joining a team here, nobody wants to part with the cool, fun work they have so they give you busy work and the tasks nobody wants to do. The politics are thick. The employees gossip a lot.
