      Pros

      Career is fulfilling based on the work and support it provides to our nation and the warfighters that protect it.

      Cons

      Senior leadership is lacking. Current administration running Austin office only knows how to cut costs to keep up with falling revenue. There is no vision and there hasn't been any growth strategy in the last 2 years.

      Pros

      Easy work although repetitive at times. Very little pressure and good work/life balance. Peers are friendly.

      Cons

      Little room for advancement. Perhaps driven by lack of future contracts. Responded too late to the market and was punished for it. Went through the motions for change instead of establishing true programs that will add value for the future of the company and employees. Culture was antiquated but made attempts to modernize.

      Pros

      The company, a division headquarters, was very well run and had a lot of experienced employees when it had a lot of government contracts, from about 2003-2011. It had about 1400 employees on site at its peak.

      Cons

      When the company lost most of its government contracts, it had sequential layoffs in a short period of time, and now only has a little over 300 employees on site. It is no longer the division headquarters and is a minor operation of the larger Textron enterprise..
