Management constantly changing. In seven years I have had 8 supervisors. Poor managers are just moved around. "Good old boy" and who's on the golf team runs deep. Training is nonexistent. Figure it out as you go along. Lay off and terminations are erratic. Very tense work environment. Lots of CYA and that's not my job.

Lack of direction from manager or leads if you are new grad or inexperienced engineer could cause you to feel lost or un-challenged in your day to day tasks.

Generally, cannot work from home (sometimes with Managers permission). While pay is average, for most employees, it is low for the higher performers. Due to the nature of our work, there may be long stretches of "bug fixing" which can reduce the morale.
