Thales is a large organisation with a wide range of products and services. There is scope for international travel both for short term project related work, and for longer term overseas postings. The technology is usually cutting edge and there a lot of very experienced and high quality people within the business.

Cons

Under performance is not dealt with quickly or effectively compared to other similar business', with the result that there is a lot of dead wood within the business, causing others to overwork to take up the slack. Very conservative in their approach to risk.
