Exposed | The Agency Pasadena ___ Hello, this is my story. I began my journey with The Agency Pasadena January 2020. A fresh start, a new year, an adventurous approach to life that unnoticeably would lead me to where I am on this first day of December, 2021. The Agency, in theory, is a company, a culture, of value and integrity. The founder and CEO prides himself on innovation and collaboration. We are better, we thrive, as a whole. This global luxury real estate brokerage is founded on morals and values that, from an outward perspective regards honor and authority. I was a believer in The Agency. More specifically The Agency Pasadena. My dedication to The Buigues Group, a RE team based out of Pasadena California was lead with passion and commitment. My daily commitment and respect I had to the team, along with the brokerage, was imbedded in the morals and values I grew up with as an immigrant to this country. Standing true to my ethics, I performed daily in a manner that I would want any human to entail. Respect and commitment are embedded in my DNA and were never a quality I questioned. October 18th, 2021. The day that changed my life. My perspective. The first day of the rest of my life. I am thankful, forever grateful for this day. Truth was exposed, human intention exposed, the reality of The Agency, more specifically the disguise of The Agency Pasadena: Exposed. My aunt, CEO and founder of The Buigues Group, leader of the elite real estate system based out of Pasadena, California, portrays herself as a noble woman of integrity and value. She paints a portrait of grace and class, offering herself as a professional which is here of service to her clients, friends and family. While this all glosses in a strategic light on paper, her true intentions are dark, misleading. I myself, fell victim to the illusion of human that I wanted to believe was my aunt, youngest sibling to my father. Perfectly articulated in the words she has paid for by mentors, life coaches, therapists, as well as life development professionals, her words and actions can only take a woman with no good intent to a certain level. She, in theory, is an illusion. The damage that she has caused, with no regard to me and my efforts to the branding and image of her as agent, as a professional, as a mother, community leader, philanthropist, daughter, is of indescribable content. I performed un-waged with grace and class for a brand I supported and built with the vision that each member of the team, that was The Buigues Group, would thrive not only as individuals, yet as a whole which is the idea and culture behind a team environment. Exposed on this 18th day of October, 2021, was the false illusion I had been immersed in. The evil I entailed that day, the manipulation regarding the forces of my aunt in combination with the managing partner of The Agency Pasadena, surpassed any level of human destruction that I have encountered in my 41 years of life. I released myself from The Agency Pasadena on that 18th day, no longer wanting to associate myself with a company, nor culture, of toxic and unethical practice. The mental abuse I had endured was brought to light and my well-being not only as a professional, but most importantly as a human being was forefront to my priorities. This was my life and I was no longer willing to accept torture and underling disrespect from those who I trusted and respected in an industry built on the foundation of integrity and collaboration. Immediately following my release, I connected with the elites of The Agency brokerage, to shed light on this toxic work environment. Their response was vague and misleading. All the “right words” were said, yet no appropriate action was taken. Once again confirming The Agency culture to be of an illusion. A real life Hollywood story. Reality show in which no one has your true intentions of seeing you through as an agent and professional. The show carried on as their plan. Yet, I don’t play that show. I do not stand for human abuse. This is my story. I am here to speak for those that are scared; silenced. Those that fear retaliation in the name of their livelihood. Agents and associates that deserve the respect they warrant from the countless hours they endure in the name of The Agency. By no means do I want to retaliate, that is not of my character and whole heartedly believe there is space for each individual in this industry, in any industry. I do, however, want to shed light that there is by no means space for toxic, misleading, and abusive work environment that occurs across many industries throughout our work industries. I speak not only for myself, but for those directly affected. I speak for those that come before me. My 16 year old niece. My 13 year old nephew. 2 and 4 year old nieces. All the countless children of those I know directly. For those I do not know, and may never know by name. I speak for them. There needs to be a voice to redefine this hostile environment. Let the truth be exposed.
