Pros

Relatively very high salaries. Free drinks.

Cons

Outlook looks pretty bleak. No clear direction. Lack of leadership. Inconsistent rules and processes. Strange contracting decisions. Poor office space and working environment.

Pros

Open environment/a more idealistic version of what an academic research setting should be.

Cons

Institute has an identity crisis, doesn't know if it's commercial and research and hasn't learnt to get the balance right. This leads to admin bloat and productivity dips without adding any real value.
