Pros

You meet interesting members and have flexible hours.

Cons

Management is heartless and often treats employees and members poorly. they keep changing things, moving staff, facilities and equipment around without input from those on the ground. Changes are often for the worse. They fix aesthetics but not things behind the scenes and the trainers have to suffer through equipment, computers and facilities that don't work, effecting pay.

Low pay, stingy company

Business Outlook

Pros

Free gym membership at most locations

Cons

High turnover rate due to low pay. Management is too stingy to invest in its employees or upgrade its payroll technology from the 80's. Some employees are even UNDERPAID and are waiting on paychecks due to the outdated technology and general lack of concern in paying employees fairly. If you work on a holiday, there is no holiday pay as well. For such a seemingly high-end club you would expect the company to have better business ethics.
