Pros

You can have blog writing published on their website, which can be helpful if you are trying to start your portfolio.

Cons

Force you to ask your friends and family for donations to work there. In the job description, this task is only referred to as "fundraising" and there is no mention that they expect you, your family, and friends to donate to them. They expect $500 in donations from all interns. They also make edits to your articles before publishing them which, in my opinion, worsened the quality of my pieces, and there was no opportunity for communication about the edits they made.
