Pros

The Bowery mission hides behind a beautiful mission. The internal structure is whitewashed. They allow men to get away with disgusting actions & have 0 repercussions yet slam women. It’s not worth it!!

Pros

The Bowery Mission is doing good work in NYC by caring for people experiencing homelessness. People are driven and care about the mission of the organization.

Cons

Certain people on the marketing team are very anal, and care about minutiae more than the quality of the work. Typos on internal communications are treated as if it's the end of the world. The focus of the team is more on reporting about the results of the work rather than working to make content better. Autonomy is not given to complete work, so prepare to be micromanaged. New ideas aren't welcomed. If you work here, you shouldn't question anything and need to be prepared to do things the way they've been done. You shouldn't expect to grow out of your role, or have creative freedom.
