Pros

Many workshops almost everyday on biology and computer science. Great for those looking for learning opportunities. Awesome location and building. Vibrant environment. Smart people. Very good work/life balance.

Cons

Lower pay for software engineers compared to private sector. One can feel the academic inefficiency at times compared to product development groups in private sector.
