Pros

Broad is a great place to improve your scientific skills in the field of genetics/genomics. People here are encouraged to collaborate with other groups to achieve higher goals, and to breakthrough. Social activities are highly encouraged here. In addition Broadies are exposed to lots of cutting-edge scientific seminars, workshops, talks and meetings.

Cons

Competition is relatively high in Broad. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing, as some people see this as an opportunity to progress fast.
