Pros

Pay is comparable for those starting their first job, but don't expect much in the way of pay raises. Scheduling is very flexible, clothing is of very good quality with a great price. Has a very good customer base. Benefits are very, very good!

Cons

This is definitely not a job for someone who really needs the hours. Hours one week could be 20 hours and then the next week they could be 4 hours. If you can get in with a good Regional, District, and Store manager you will love the job, but if not, it's not worth the stress. It's also very hard to move up within the company. Seems like they tend to not hire within the company. Not sure for the reasoning...may be afraid of losing their own job if they are not doing it well.

Pros

Good discount, Friendly employees, If you like kids...then it's fun.

Cons

As an associate I had no training, management never on the floor, overworked staff, underpaid for the work, get call-in shifts instead of regular shifts, maybe one regular shift a week, no room to move up, get called in on your days off, poor merchandising, too many floor sets, no order in the back room, High expectations for conversion and daily duties, High expectations to sell credit cards.

Pros

* decent employee discount (although they've lowered it in the year to save themselves money) * always something to keep you busy

Cons

* higher management is a joke * they are lazy, overpaid, and downright useless (with an exception or two) * incompetence is overlooked and it seems the upper management (DSM etc) turns a blind eye as long as sales are happening * are strict about rules unless it effects them in a negative way -- and then the rules don't count * raises...if any at all, are a JOKE
