      crushing workload, lack of teamwork in all departments, everyone out for themselves, management only concerned about stock price, morale is terrible, pay below industry average

      Friendly environment if you allow it to be. Work from home 1 day a week after you have been here for 18 months.

      Cons

      Salary compared to industry is far below. When the underwriters are told something will happen to help with workload, not only does that not happen but they do the opposite. I say this with 3 major changes that come to mind just within the last year. You are not reviewed on how well you do your job, but who you know or suck up to. Chance to grow through personal Lines is practically impossible. You will have to go to commercial underwriting first. Plus there you have a whole lot of less work and you get paid more.
