Pros

The folks on my team were great. The potential to be promoted and move outside commercial lines was not. I had the largest territory on the team and was still told i need experience in that field (sales, marketing, claims….). The pay is way lower than the market. Good company to start a career with but if you want opportunity move along to a different one.

Cons

Limited promotions. Pay. Lack of support for the front lines.

I can't think of many. I did meet some nice people and learn a lot but I also worked extremely hard and was underpaid.

Cons

Will not offer remote work. Micromanagement of underwriters - right down to each click you make. Favoritism and fakeness get some further up the ladder. Mostly white male middle marker leaders. Culture is bland and outdated.

As a field adjuster, in a multiline setting, this job gave me really exceptional experience which has helped me land more prosperous jobs with other companies. This job was a great resume builder.

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. They did not pay OT, but expected you to get the job done anyway. It was not uncommon to have coworkers work nights, or even take PTO to keep up with the workload. The benefits are lacking compared to other insurance companies.
