Pros

Flexible work schedule, convenient location, some good people. The company day at Kings Island is one of the best perks of working there.

Cons

Nepotism is key there. It's not what you know it's who's your daddy or who you marry. The moral is low, employee focus is extinct, it's all about the numbers anymore. Advancement is limited because they know who they want to promote but have to go through the motions of interviewing everyone because it's the company's philosophy. Overworked and underpaid!

Pros

Nice work environment and the building security team and maintenance crew are top-notch and second to none. On bonus distribution everyone gets a hearty handshake from the officers…and a donut.

Cons

Nepotism doesn't run through this company - it gallops. The company has digressed from a company that looks for ways to say yes to a company that looks for ways to say no - especially in regards to their employees. The company bases the yearly bonus on performance in relation to ten peer companies. So even if the company really hits it out of the park, if the peers do just a bit better there could be very little or no bonus. The officers are captains of the ship. If they tell the crew to go to a specific island and the crew gets the ship to that island, if it turns out to be the wrong island everyone suffers from the officers decision to go to that island. The company cuts costs at the employees expense at every opportunity but still uses tablecloths for the officers' monthly luncheon and in this day of videoconferencing still holds an August meeting (which brings in field workers and their spouses for a day and a half of...well I am not sure what).

Pros

Direct managers appreciate hard work and integrity. They communicate what steps are needed to succeed and guide employees towards those goals.

Cons

Tenure, hard work, integrity do not matter with some upper management. Looking good on paper is what counts not the reality of how hard one works nor how dedicated someone is to their work and the company.
