Pros

I have been genuinely impressed by the caliber of people I work with here. My colleagues are not only exceptionally smart, but also collaborative, generous with their knowledge, and committed to doing great work. I have learned a tremendous amount since joining the company. Compensation and bonuses are very strong, and my manager has been the most supportive leader I have had in my career—someone who actively invests in my development and well-being. One of the most meaningful aspects of working here is being part of a global organization with a largely positive reputation around the world. It is rewarding to see the real-world impact of our work when I am out in my community with my family. Overall, I feel proud to work here and deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this company.

Cons

One of the ongoing challenges of working here is the frequency of reorganizations and role shifts. While often intended to improve the business, the constant restructuring can make it difficult to maintain continuity and momentum on long-term work. At times, systems and processes do not fully support the pace or complexity of the work, which can add friction to execution. In my part of the organization, there is also a noticeable amount of internal politics. People can be quite protective of their programs and ideas, and at times it can feel as though where an idea originates matters more than the quality of the idea itself. I have also observed a few promotion decisions that, while undoubtedly recognizing capable individuals, have raised questions for me about how consistently leadership factors such as character and values are weighted. That has made me reflect on longer-term cultural fit for myself. Additionally, the newer three-day in-office policy has been difficult for many employees. I have personally experienced flexibility from my manager, for which I am grateful, but I recognize that this shift has been challenging across teams and geographies. Overall, these dynamics do not outweigh the many positives of working here, but they are real aspects of the experience that prospective employees should be aware of.
