Pros

Being a technician, brings challenges everyday. Trying to make the residents happy, while staying within your budget is challenging, and fun. I try to complete all workorders that where taken daily, which could make me run anywhere from 15 to 40 workorders, but I challenge myself to do it everyday. We have a team atmosphere, so if anyone runs into trouble, we call each other and help. Management recognizes our efforts and rewards us all the time.

Cons

Sometimes, theres just not enough time in a day. Some projects take many hours to complete, and the days just run out. Having to be on call at any company is a downside.

Pros

The Connor Group is a great company to work for. The company has an excellent training program that prepares you for the job that you have been hired to do. The training and development continues throughout your tenure. There are clear goals and expectations for each employee. These goals are not unrealistic. They are what leads your property to success...and the REWARDS for obtaining your goals are great! This company actually believes in reward and recognition. They recognize you for going above and beyond. I have never had a job that provided as much opportunity for growth and advancement as The Connor Group offers. Work hard, provide excellent leadership, accomplish your goals, and you will be a huge success at The Connor Group.

Cons

This is not a 9-5 job. If you do not like to work, this job is not for you. Managers are very hands on. If you like to sit at a desk all day then this would not be a good fit for you.
